“Anyway, a couple of friends and I are starting a club. Would you like to join us?”
“What kind of club?” she asked.
“It’s called The Red Letter Club,” said Janie. “We’re reading the words of Jesus and talking about them.”
“It’s a book club?” asked Kate hesitantly.
“I guess so… kind of,” said Janie. “Only it’s not just any book. It’s the Bible. It’s really important stuff.”
